Open the app → Settings → tap "Restore Purchases". If it still doesn't activate, sign out and back in, then try again. If the issue persists, email us with your Apple ID order number.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open Settings → tap your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Ascend → Cancel. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep Premium until then.
Premium users have 12 streak repair tokens per year that auto-save a missed day. If you lost a streak more than 1 day ago without tokens available, the streak cannot be restored — but you can start a new one immediately.
In the app → Settings → "Delete Account" → confirm. This permanently deletes your account, cloud data, and unlinks any active subscription from your account. The action is immediate and cannot be undone.
The "Listen" button uses your device's built-in voice. Make sure your phone isn't on silent mode and that media volume is up. iOS uses different volume controls for ringer vs. media — check the side buttons while a lesson is open.
Force-quit (swipe up from the App Switcher), then reopen. If it keeps crashing, restart your iPhone, then update Ascend in the App Store if there's a newer version. Persistent issues — please email us.
No. Reflections you write or record stay on your device and (if signed in) sync only to your private cloud account on Supabase. They are never shown to other users, never used for training models, never sold to advertisers.
By design. The leaderboard is anonymous — every user gets a random handle (monk_xxxx) to protect your real identity. We never display real names, emails, or any personal info on the leaderboard.
Ascend offers two auto-renewable subscriptions:
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
